We as The Organising Committee are pleased to announce that Helena Hecke from Germany has been selected as the fourth Member of the Chief Adjudicators’ Panel 2019. If you want to learn more, here is a brief biography:

Helena has been involved in debating since starting in High School in 2014. Heart of Europe was the first World Schools tournament she participated in and marked the start of her speaking and judging in tournaments all over Europe, in both World Schools and British Parliamentary format.

She is the Head Coach for her debating society Tilbury House and coaches school and university debating nationally and internationally. Helena is especially passionate about coaching and helping her “Ducklings”, as she calls the students she coaches, to develop as debaters and firmly believes that with the right support, every debater can achieve their full potential.

Helena is from Germany and is currently studying German Law at the University of Cologne.
