Ovidiu Damian is a 3rd year student at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca and works as an engineer. He is always over-enthusiastic about maths, describing things numerically, and breaking barriers between humans and computers.

Ovidiu’s initiation into the debating community started in the heart of Transylvania where he was adjudicating a final in Turda’s Salt Mine. He went on to CAing and tabbing at various Romanian competitions such as ARGO Open, Saint George’s City of Debate, Pache Open, and the National Debate Forum. He loves learning as much as possible about debating from anyone he meets and can’t wait to make Heart of Europe his statistics playground!
